Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher to take the lead on safeguarding, wellbeing and attendance, and line manage a group of non-core subjects. The role includes leading and managing our outstanding residential care team. being the named DSL for the school and carries a broad focus upon the ‘Behaviour and Attitudes’ aspects of the Education Inspection Framework and Social Care Inspection Framework.

The role is fully supported by a range of internal highly specialist teams including qualified, competent care staff and education assistants, subject specialist Teachers of the Deaf, Audiologist, highly specialist speech and language therapists, wellbeing and behaviour leads, communication support workers to name but a few.
