Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
Central England Academy Trustprovides excellent education to learners in Nuneaton and the surrounding areas. We have five schools: Oak Wood Primary School, Oak Wood Secondary School, Michael Drayton Junior School, Higham Lane School and Higham Lane North Academy. Together, we offer a comprehensive education to students aged 4 to 19 in both mainstream and SEND settings. We are a diverse Trust that celebrates individual learning needs, including profound, severe, and complex learning needs.
Oak Wood Primary School is a successful specialist setting for children aged from 4 to 11 with a broad spectrum of special educational needs and learning disabilities. We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated teaching assistant who will support learning opportunities for our pupils alongside the class teacher in order to ensure the best possible outcomes for all pupils.
The Central England Academy Trust is a growing trust which is committed to developing its workforce and encouraging all members of staff to participate in a range of professional development opportunities.
We welcome applicants who either hold a teaching assistant qualification or are currently working towards obtaining the qualification. Please see job description for full requirements of the role.
