We are seeking a sales-driven Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Southampton office in our Construction & Property Recruitment team. As a Senior Consultant, your primary focus will be to develop and nurture relationships within both large and small construction organisations across Southampton. You will actively seek out and meet with Recruitment teams, Directors, line managers, and other key stakeholders. As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will be recruiting the best and most experienced candidates for interim (70%) and permanent (30%) roles within this busy sector. The desk available in this market has derived its success from repeat and multi-sector business, billing record numbers of over £500k in the last financial year, with genuine potential to grow more.

Our Construction & Property team at our Southampton office is a public sector-facing recruitment team that has enjoyed significant success.
You'll be placing blue collar professionals at the heart of Southampton's thriving construction and property sector, where ports, projects, and progress never stop - with an average fee of £40k per period.
Your new role
The responsibilities of a Senior Recruitment Consultant include:
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with public sector organisations and key decision makers.
Actively seeking and engaging with in-house recruitment professionals, directors, and line managers.
Sourcing, screening and recruiting top-tier candidates for predominately contract but also permanent roles.
Draft reports, ensure compliance, and participate in internal projects.
Contribute to the development and growth of the business, especially your wider Construction & Property team.
Due to the fees already in the area and the potential we have here, to be successful you will need to meet the following criteria:
You will have experience as a Senior Recruitment Consultant or above as well as a proven track record in business development and recruitment. You will be a highly driven, ambitious, and inspiring individual who can drive success in those around you and navigate the highs and lows of recruitment with resilience.
