Summary

Are You a Teacher Who Thinks Outside the Box?

Location: Stoke-On-Trent

We are on the hunt for a dynamic and forward-thinking Teacher of ICT and STEM to join our dedicated team in Stoke-On-Trent. This isn't your typical teaching role. We're looking for someone who sees the potential in every student and is passionate about using technology to build confidence and skills that last a lifetime.

Our school community is built on strong relationships and a shared commitment to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment. You'll be instrumental in developing an innovative ICT and STEM curriculum for students in Key Stage 2 and 3, but you'll also be expected to bring your expertise to other subjects, helping to create a holistic and engaging educational experience for all.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Curriculum Designer: You'll have the freedom to design and deliver lessons that are engaging, practical, and truly relevant. You'll use your expertise to create hands-on, project-based activities that make learning exciting, especially in ICT and STEM.

  • Student Advocate: You'll work closely with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). Your role will be to create a safe and empowering space where every student can feel valued and reach their full potential.

  • Team Collaborator: You'll be part of a supportive network of professionals, working together to develop and deliver a curriculum that truly works for our students.

  • Community Builder: We believe in a positive school culture, and we need someone who is ready to contribute to it with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.

Who We Need:

  • You must have a PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or a similar teaching qualification.

  • You have a background in teaching ICT, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths.

  • You have experience working with pupils with SEN, ideally in a special educational setting.

  • You're not just a teacher; you're an innovator with a genuine passion for technology and a commitment to staying current.

  • You're a creative problem-solver, highly empathetic, and can work both on your own and as part of a team.

Key Requirements:

  • An up-to-date Enhanced DBS Disclosure is essential.

  • You must be physically able to undertake training and activities as required.

This is a unique opportunity to use your skills and passion to make a real difference. If you're ready for a rewarding challenge in a special learning environment, we want to hear from you.
