Warehouse Operative

Knutsford | £12.50 per hour | Tuesday - Friday 8am - 5pm & Sunday 11am - 5pm | 40 hours paid | Temporary

Acorn by Synergie are proud to be recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on a temporary basis for their distribution client based in Knutsford.

This role offers an immediate start and 40 hours of paid work per week.

Hours
  • Tuesday - Friday: 8am - 5pm
  • Sunday: 11am - 5pm (8 hours paid despite working 5)
  • One hour lunch break deducted per day.
Pay
  • £12.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Picking orders ready for outbound deliveries following procedures.
  • Labelling all orders correctly for dispatch.
  • Loading vehicles accurately and on time.
  • Goods in: unloading containers, putting stock away, decanting stillages, re-palletising and banding goods.
  • Handballing stock from containers onto pallets.
  • Following all Health & Safety requirements.
Candidate Requirements
  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Manual handling of heavy and awkward goods (desirable).
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience using a Warehouse Management System (desirable).
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload.
