As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll work alongside a dedicated team of teachers and support staff who are passionate about making a difference.
What You’ll Be DoingIn this role, you’ll provide support to students across different subjects and year groups, helping to ensure they stay engaged and make good progress. Your key responsibilities will include:

Supporting students in the classroom to help them access the curriculum

Providing 1:1 and small group support where needed

Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and delivery

Encouraging positive behaviour, focus, and motivation in lessons

Helping students with revision, homework, and developing study skills

Building strong, supportive relationships with students to promote confidence and independence

Has recently graduated with a 2:1 or above in a relevant subject (e.g. English, Maths, Science, Psychology, Education)

Has a genuine interest in working with young people and supporting their learning

Is considering a career in teaching, education, or youth work

Is patient, reliable, and proactive

Has previous experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, coaching, volunteering)
