What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll provide support to students across different subjects and year groups, helping to ensure they stay engaged and make good progress. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting students in the classroom to help them access the curriculum

  
  

• Providing 1:1 and small group support where needed

  
  

• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and delivery

  
  

• Encouraging positive behaviour, focus, and motivation in lessons

  
  

• Helping students with revision, homework, and developing study skills

  
  

• Building strong, supportive relationships with students to promote confidence and independence

  This role would suit someone who:

  • Has recently graduated with a 2:1 or above in a relevant subject (e.g. English, Maths, Science, Psychology, Education)

    
    

  • Has a genuine interest in working with young people and supporting their learning

    
    

  • Is considering a career in teaching, education, or youth work

    
    

  • Is patient, reliable, and proactive

    
    

  • Has previous experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, coaching, volunteering)
