Are you passionate about shaping the future of automotive technology? Do you thrive in a dynamic, hands-on teaching environment and love working with young people? City College Norwich’s Automotive Department is looking for a fun, energetic, and forward-thinking Course Leader to take charge of our Level 1 Automotive programme.

In this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for delivering a dynamic mix of practical and theory-based sessions, while leading and inspiring student groups to achieve their full potential. You’ll play a key role in shaping the curriculum, ensuring high standards in assessment and quality assurance.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a Level 3 or higher qualification in Automotive Technology, along with a Level 3 or above in Electric Vehicle Technology. You’ll also hold a recognised teaching qualification and have solid experience in marking, assessing, and curriculum development. A Level 2 qualification in English and Maths (Grade 4/C GCSE or equivalent) is essential, as is a good understanding of safeguarding practices and strong management skills in monitoring student attendance.
