Summary
We are partnering with a leading civil engineering contractor who are seeking a skilled Ground Modelling Engineer to join their team in Scotland. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative ground development and infrastructure projects, delivering technical excellence and supporting project success.
As Ground Modelling Engineer, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Develop and maintain 3D ground and site models using industry-standard software.
* Analyse geotechnical and survey data to inform design and construction planning.
* Collaborate with design, site, and project teams to ensure accurate and practical modelling outputs.
* Support risk assessment, value engineering, and technical decision-making.
* Prepare reports, visualisations, and technical documentation for internal and client use.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
* Proven experience in ground modelling, geotechnical engineering, or civil infrastructure projects.
* Proficiency in 3D modelling software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenGround, or similar).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and collaborative skills to work across multi-disciplinary teams.
* Relevant degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or similar.
