Summary
To prepare ambulances for daily use in line with agreed standard operating procedures To clean vehicles both internally and externally as described within the services Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) To ensure that consumables on vehicles remain at agreed levels Report the return of untidy ambulances to the Shift Manager To complete a range of vehicle checks including but not limited to tyre pressure, oil and screen wash levels To move vehicles at the request of the Shift Manger, including taking vehicles off site for regular inspections and servicing To inspect the vehicles for damage, report findings appropriately and verify the need for appropriate repairs To ensure that vehicles off the road (VOR) are easily identifiable to prevent their use in error To support crews to complete job cards for vehicle repairs as necessary To Transfer equipment between vehicles when directed To take receipt of paperwork including fuel receipts and accident forms and ensure that these are passed to the Resource Co-ordinator and appropriate manager as soon as possible Internal Deep Cleaning of Vehicles External Vehicle Cleaning Offsite Breakdown attendance ***Salary £13.85 per hour.
