Summary
We are looking for a hard working and caring clerk to join our team, based in the Chest Centre at Aintree Hospital. We have a Respiratory co-ordinator, and a team of Clinical nurse specialists who work together to provide quality care to Respiratory patients under our team. We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic clerk with excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour to join us.
The main duties of the role are listed below - the successful candidate must be confident in speaking to patients and their relatives via phone, and be computer literate.
• Working with the Respiratory Co-ordinator and Respiratory Specialist Nurse team, primarily within the Home Oxygen service
• Booking appointments
• Telephone contacts with Patients
• Recording outcomes for clinic appointments
• Scanning notes to EDMS
• Data collection
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection act
• Any other admin or office duties required within role

Working with the Respiratory Co-ordinator and Respiratory Specialist Nurse team, primarily within the Home Oxygen service
Receiving referrals and handing them over to CNS to review
Booking appointments
Telephone contacts with Patients and their families
Receiving messages and passing these onto the appropriate team members
Recording outcomes for clinic appointments
Scanning notes to EDMS
Ensure accurate data collection and inputting onto databases
Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection act
Any other admin or office duties required within role
