Summary

As the GovWifi Delivery Manager, you will be accountable for the delivery of our product and service outcomes. You will lead our multidisciplinary team, restoring and maintaining a motivated, collaborative, and productive rhythm of delivery. You will create an environment where agile and lean ways of working lead to real improvements in how we work and what we deliver for users—while prioritising the well-being and development of the team.
  • Facilitate Agile Ways of Working: Build and maintain a healthy team environment, ensuring our agile ceremonies are meaningful, regular, and focused on fostering collaboration, transparency and delivery.
  • Enable Collaboration: Break down siloes within management, front-end and back-end development, creating strong connections between roles and focusing the team on joint goals and regular deliverables.
  • Clear Obstacles: Identify and clear administrative or process burdens that impede delivery, allowing the team to focus on value and outcomes.
  • Support Team Wellbeing: Champion psychological safety, model supportive communication, and monitor team well-being—implementing feedback loops and checks on morale and workload.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Coach individuals and the team to apply agile and lean tools, reflecting on and adapting team practices for better results and a more sustainable pace.
  • Enhance Transparency: Ensure work is visible and progress is clear to all stakeholders. Foster stronger relationship with Product Management, ensuring prioritisation is aligned to user and business needs.
  • Develop Project Management Skills: Mentor colleagues to develop personal and team project management skills, supporting their wider professional growth in the DDAT discipline.
  • Deliver Product Outcomes: Work with the product manager and tech leads to deliver on the product roadmap, ensuring delivery is timely, to quality, and user need.
