The Systems Training Officer is responsible for the delivery of soft skills, technical system knowledge and associated system training. This includes TARS system for Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) staff and CRM for Customer Service Centre staff.
They design, develop, deliver and maintain all training courses ensuring they meet business needs and fully support the virtualisation of the Newcastle and Swansea contact centres. They will ensure the training is fit for purpose and that staff are correctly trained.
The post-holder will do this by fully understanding the customer/end-user requirements along with the policy, legislation and regulations governing all products to enable the delivery of an effective, efficient and quality service.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Delivery of systems (CRM, IRDT & CPC) training for DVSA Customer Service Centre staff and TARS training across DVSA. All delivered to required standards, quality expectations and service levels, enabling trainees to deliver services to the required standards.
- Work with Stakeholders to ensure their training needs are met and continue to build good working relationships.
- Support managers to understand and articulate the learning needs of their employees.
- Design training packages to meet stakeholder needs.
- Plan training effectively and where necessary make decisions on priorities.
- Deliver training in a professional manner taking into consideration the different learning needs of the individuals.
- Evaluate training and consider feedback from learners and stakeholders to improve the course content and add value for money.
