Summary
Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that routine maintenance is performed, in order for the hotel to be operated with maximum efficiency to achieve guest satisfaction and safety. You will be a team player, have excellent communication skills and attention to detail, and will be able to maintain a positive and calm outlook regardless of what challenges the shift might bring.
When working as a Shift Engineer you will be working as part of the maintenance team ensuring that you respond promptly and safely to all situations. You will also:
• Perform all routine preventative and curative maintenance
• Operate, maintain and repair a variety of different equipment within the hotel
• Work in a safe manner
• Keep adequate level of supplies required for hotel maintenance
• Keep a high standard of workmanship in all tasks carried out
• Liaise with CE and ACE daily carrying out stator test and inspections and monitor daily usage
• Respond to all guest requests as they arise and report back to for guest follow up and engagement
• Work with outside contractors as necessary to assist them in performing maintenance or construction jobs
The team work on a 4 on/4 off basis and hours are 8:00am-8:30pm or 8:00pm-8:30am.
You will be expected to work day shifts and night shifts on rotation, including weekends.
