Summary

Graduate Civil Engineer

We're looking for Graduate Civil Engineers to join our NRNN & Transportation teams based across various Southern locations.

Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks - We provide design, build and maintenance solutions to protect the UK's essential services and assets. Working across the water, nuclear and other decarbonised energy, environmental and waterways sectors, we provide sustainable and safe solutions for our clients and customers whilst protecting and restoring natural habitats

Transportation - Build and maintain infrastructure for the highways, rail, aviation and ports sectors, with a common goal of connecting people.  We provide transport solutions that are sustainable, long-lasting and that promote various methods of transport

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on our structured graduate development programme. These programmes have been designed to provide you with the experiences and tools needed for progression within your chosen career. 

Locations: Oxfordshire, East Sussex, Plymouth, Luton- With flexibility to travel/relocate across the region

Starting Salary: £30,000 per annum with potential £4,750 car allowance depending on eligibility

Pathway: Permanent, Full-time 2-year programme, leading to assistant level role upon completion with salary potential of CIRCA £38k 

Starting date: September 2026

 What you will be responsible for? 

As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you'll be an essential part of our engineering team, helping to shape the future of construction across the UK. You'll have the chance to work in a variety of teams, either on-site where the action happens or in a design-based role, depending on where your interests lie.



What will your day-to-day duties include?

-Assisting in the preparation and management of project designs, plans, and specifications

-Supporting the development and monitoring of project schedules and budgets.

-Conducting site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements

-Collaborating with project managers and engineers to solve technical issues and ensure project success

-Preparing technical reports, documentation, and providing project updates

What are we looking for? 

We're looking for people due to graduate in 2026, or have recently graduated within the past three years, with a degree in Civil Engineering

The role of Graduate Civil Engineer is great for you if:

-Hold a full UK drivers' licence.
