Summary
Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Mobile Role – Technical Focus)
Location: Central London area (sites within a reasonable travel distance across the city)
Salary: £49,000 – £51,000 per annum + mobile allowance + overtime opportunities
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a mobile team supporting commercial sites across Central London. This role involves providing technical support, completing finishing works, carrying out small project shutdowns, assisting with plant replacement programmes, and covering holiday/sickness across multiple sites. Site sizes vary, with teams ranging from 1 to 8 engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical support across allocated sites
- Complete planned and reactive works, shutdowns, and plant replacements
- Assist with creating and executing switching schedules
- Take the lead when required, ensuring smooth handovers and client satisfaction
- Support and oversee engineers on-site where needed
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience working within commercial buildings
- Strong client-facing skills
- AP, HV, or LVAP experience (advantageous)
- Proven ability to manage building shutdowns and complex system works
