I'm currently working with a growing, forward-thinking Civil & Structural Engineering consultancy based in Lincoln, who are looking to bring in a capable and ambitious Civil Engineer – ideally someone with 2+ years’ experience.
This is a brilliant opportunity to take ownership of projects and play a key role in the development of a civils team within a company that values innovation, collaboration, and autonomy.

- Preparing SUDS strategies and Flood Risk Assessments
- Designing residential roads to S38 and S278 standards
- Modelling drainage systems using MicroDrainage or similar
- Overseeing production and QA of technical drawings and engineering documentation
- Liaising with planners, clients, and local authorities
- Mentoring junior team members (if senior level)
This role offers genuine progression, with the chance to shape how the civils function grows within the consultancy.
What They're Looking For
- HNC, BEng or similar in Civil Engineering
- Strong technical understanding of UK drainage and highways design standards
- Proficiency in MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
- Previous consultancy experience (ideally in residential or commercial developments)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good communicator and confident engaging with clients and authorities
Why This Role?
- Salary between £35,000 and £50,000, depending on experience
- Flexible working hours (start and finish times)
- Modern, close-knit and supportive team environment
- Clear progression to lead roles as the civils team expands
- Interesting and varied project work across the UK
