Salary: Sixth Form College’s Salary Structure Main Teaching Scale (Up to £49,725 per annum)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Film Studies & Media to join our team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching, inspire student engagement, and contribute to excellent outcomes for all learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons to a diverse student body.
• Promote high expectations, progress, and achievement.
• Assess student work accurately, provide feedback, and use data to inform teaching.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching to meet the individual needs of students.
• Manage student behaviour positively and effectively.
• Contribute to curriculum development, open evenings, and extra-curricular activities.
• Ensure all administrative and quality assurance tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Participate in professional development and ongoing performance review.
• Actively promote equality, diversity, and safeguarding in all aspects of the role.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Strong subject knowledge in Film Studies and Media.
• Proven ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork.
• Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities.
