Vacancies for Teaching Assistants (x2)Grade 6, Points 9-10 FTE £25,994 - £26,409 Actual salary: £19,541 32.5 hours a week, 39 weeks a year Additional renumeration will be considered to a candidate who can offer additional interventions such as Art or Lego Therapy. Then Ashby School could be the place for you! Our Teaching Assistants work with individual and small groups of students with a range of leanring needs. They also contribute to our intervention programme lead by our intervention lead TA and delivered alongside our academic tutors. Our learning and pastoral systems come together in a range of facilities including: • The LINC Learning and Inclusion Centre where our dedicated team of Teaching and Learning Support Assistants work with students with Sepcial Educational Needs in both classroom settings and intervention groups. • The Well-being Room focussing on supporting student well-being. We would like other additional interventions to support SEMH and communication and intervention needs such as Art therapy, Lego therapy, Zones of Regulation. Autism and anxiety management or other alternative interventions that can support our student’s interaction, communication and self-regulation skills. This is a temporary contract until July 2027.
