Summary

Term-time only (37 weeks - Term Time only)
Salary: Support Staff Scale Point 21 - FTE £23,706/Actual - £9,795.36We are seeking a committed, reliable, organised and patient individual who can support large groups of students in their study sessions.The successful candidate will be keen to work with young people, promoting effective study whilst also modelling how to work independently.
The successful candidate will provide 1:1 and small group support to students including those who may require additional support whilst also ensuring that the study space is a welcoming and positive environment for our students to use.
All successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure.
Candidates must:
Have Grade C passes in English and Maths or level 2 equivalent
Be Proficient in the use of IT
Ideally, you should:
• Be well motivated, passionate and well organised
• Have significant knowledge of Safeguarding and Prevent
• Have experience in managing large groups of young people
• Have prior experience of supporting students with SEND and/or SEMH
Successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service application.
Interviews will take place as and when suitable applications are received. Therefore, the dates provided on the advert will be flexible.
