37 hours per weekParklane is a highly regarded, aspirational special school which caters for pupils with severe learning difficulties, Profound and Multiple learning difficulties and youngsters with a diagnosis of Autism. The Governing body is seeking to appoint a committed and hardworking site manager.
• You will need to be self-motivated and flexible. As site manager you will play an integral role in ensuring the school is a safe, clean, inviting, and a positive learning environment for students, staff and visitors. You will have responsibility for cleaning, security and maintenance of the site.
• As part of your role you will ensure the safety of the building, promptly dispose of waste in line with legislation, liaise with contractors and deliveries, carry out regular safety checks, promptly identify and make safe any hazards on site, reporting these to the headteacher. You will also be responsible for conducting routine inspections which will include weekly testing of the fire system ensuring records are maintained in line with RAMIS legislation.
