Summary
The Milford Academy is a Single Academy Trust (SAT) Primary School situated in Clifton on the outskirts of Nottingham. The school has approximately 455 children on roll including a Nursery unit and from September 2025 a SEN Unit. This is an exciting time at the academy as the school pushes forward with its ambitious development plans.
We are looking to appoint a responsible, enthusiastic and caring Senior Midday Supervisor to join our dedicated team. This is a key role in ensuring that our pupils have a safe, happy and enjoyable lunchtime experience. The successful candidate will lead a team of Midday Supervisors, organising and overseeing lunchtime provision across the school.
The role will involve (Please see Job Description for more details) –
• Leading and managing the team of Midday Supervisors.
• Ensuring the safety, welfare and good behaviour of pupils during the lunchtime break.
• Organising and supervising play activities to encourage positive play and social interaction.
• Supporting the smooth running of the dining hall, encouraging good manners and healthy eating.
• Dealing with minor first aid and reporting any incidents in line with school procedures.
• Liaising with senior staff regarding behaviour or welfare concerns.Person Specification We are looking for someone who is: • Friendly, approachable and enjoys working with children.
• Able to lead, motivate and support a small team effectively.
• Responsible, reliable and able to use their own initiative.
• Confident in managing pupil behaviour in line with school policies.
