We operate a breakfast/brunch menu with Tapas & Pizza evening (Monday to Wednesday), changing to a bistro style menu on Thursday to Saturday.

Straight shifts, 5 out of 7 on a rota basis.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate, chilled and calm Head/Senior Chef to lead our friendly kitchen team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and kitchen management, demonstrating leadership skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a very busy environment.
As Head Chef, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring that our culinary offerings meet the highest standards of quality and presentation while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities
• Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.
• Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality in all dishes served.
• Assist in developing and implement seasonal menus while adhering to food safety regulations.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Keep our 5 star rating (10 years now!)
• Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and effective teamwork.
• Manage stock levels without excess waste.
• Develop weekly specials
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods.
Requirements
• Proven experience within the hospitality industry.
• Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
