Location: Wolverhampton
Role: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm

    Who We’re Looking For

    To strengthen their STEM provision and inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and mathematicians, the school is seeking a graduate who:

    • Holds a 2:1 or higher degree in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Computer Science or a related subject


    • Has a genuine interest in working with young people and exploring a career in education


    • Possesses strong communication skills and an enthusiastic, proactive attitude


    • Is willing to learn, reflect and adapt to support students with different learning needs


    • (Desirable) Has previous experience working with young people, though this is not essential


      The Role – STEM Graduate Teaching Assistant

      As a STEM Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play an active role in supporting teaching and learning in your subject area. You will:

      • Deliver 1:1 and small-group academic interventions in STEM subjects


      • Help students prepare for GCSE and A-Level exams, offering tailored support to boost progress


      • Work closely with experienced subject teachers and pastoral staff


      • Build your classroom confidence and develop your leadership and teaching skills


      • Gain valuable experience ahead of a teacher training pathway starting in 2026
