Barnardo's is launching an innovative Donated Stock Hub in Rugby – and we are looking for a dynamic Donated Stock Hub Assistant Manager to collaborate with the Manager to make it happen. What is the role?

The Donated Stock Hub Assistant Manager role will be the key to supporting the building, developing, and delivering an innovative approach to stock by supporting the Hub Manager in managing flow of stock both into and from Hub, leading a small team, and ensuring nominated stores receive the right level of stock support, to enable them to generate additional income whilst maximising the value of every donation received, providing essential funding for the charity.

What you will be doing:

Supervising the team in daily operations of the stock hub including health and safety & compliance.
Lead, coach, and motivate a diverse team of staff and volunteers.
Monitoring stock intake, quality control and stock distribution to nominated stores.
Support the manager in building innovative solutions to maintain pace and efficiency.
Build strong links with stakeholders to understand stock requirements across nominated stores.
Use systems to measure and manage KPI's, analyse data and build a clear understanding of impact of the Hub on improving Income generation.

What we are looking for:

Previous retail, warehouse, team leader/ supervision experience.
Effective leadership and organisational skills.
A passion for sustainability and in particular pre-loved fashion.
Ability to achieve KPIs within an organisation.
A commitment to equality, inclusion, and the mission of Barnardo's
Good IT skills and confidence using stock control systems.
An initiative-taking, direct approach & passion for coaching, developing, supporting and teamwork.
Motivated to deliver success.
