Are you the right person for the job?
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a commercial or construction environment
• Strong knowledge of procurement, contract administration, tender management, and frameworks
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within project and operational teams
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in commercial reporting and financial monitoring
What will your role look like?
• Work within the commercial team to deliver program objectives and support colleagues to achieve targets
• Develop and maintain successful relationships with clients and key supply chain partners
• Contribute to procurement and contract strategies, including sourcing, tender compilation, and issuing
• Administer contract amendments, variations, and final accounts to achieve optimal outcomes
• Provide commercial advice and guidance across the business
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, and operating costs to ensure financial targets are met
• Visit sites, arrange meetings, and brief project teams to ensure sufficient commercial support
• Promote continuous improvement, best practices, and integration across the client base
• Attend internal and external commercial review meetings, presenting reports to directors
• Resolve contractual and commercial issues, supporting operational teams to achieve profit improvement plans
