Job Summary

St John Ambulance is renowned for being England’s first aid charity, and we have an ambitious plan to be the market leading authority on Event Healthcare into the future. The Event Healthcare Advisor is responsible for the administration and resourcing of first aid and medical provision at events by contributing to the development of quotes, bookings and invoices, and the provision of exceptional customer service. The Event Healthcare Advisor (EHA) is responsible for delivering prompt and accurate information to customers in relation to event healthcare bookings. The EHA is part of the Event Healthcare team and is responsible for delivering service excellence to customers and volunteers.


About You
You will hold a minimum of 5 x GCSEs or equivalent (Grade C) including English and maths, have experience using computerised systems, relevant planning systems, data input and applications, have experience of working in a team, have experience dealing with internal and external queries, have proven experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships, you will have excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels and excellent written and verbal communication skills.



About the Role

Detailed operation of the event administrative processes.
Establish and maintain customer relationships to a high level.
Perform tasks to update relevant systems to support the delivery of event healthcare and ensure reporting.
Collaborative working with all SJA personnel.
Creation and distribution of event plans and risk assessments.
Undertake day to day customer service support.
Problem solving to resolve issues.
Work flexible hours to meet exceptional demands as required
Monitor event and volunteer numbers and notify of any shortfalls.
Monitor and action incoming communications for event bookings and queries in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure information is recorded accurately
Accurate quoting of requests
Management and raising of invoices
Deal with finance queries as required to ensure the department meets its target for aged debt as set by the Team Leader.
Responsible for responding to finance queries in relation to event healthcare activities
Contribute and comply with the organisations policies and procedures. This includes areas such as H&S, HR, Finance and IT but is not limited to these areas.
Work with existing and upcoming systems to ensure efficiency.
Perform any other duties commensurate with these responsibilities, the band of the post and skills and qualifications of the post holder.
