Summary
The Best Connection are currently looking to recruit a number of Parcel Sorters, to work for one of our clients' busy parcel distribution sites, based in different areas in Southampton.
We are currently recruiting for a number of parcel distribution companies based in Chandlers Ford, Hedge End and Nursling.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
- Unloading deliveries from vehicles
- Unloading parcels from cages and moving into the warehouse
- Sorting parcels into correct postcode areas
- Wrapping, labelling and scanning parcels
- Working on a conveyor belt
- Assisting with all general warehouse duties
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
Previous parcel sorting experience, or any warehouse-related experience, would be highly desirable when being considered for this role. Due to some of the start and finish times, own transport is highly advantageous.
We have immediate starts available, and ongoing work every week on a rota basis. Each week, we will receive the rota from the clients and contact candidates to offer the available shifts.
Working times can vary, depending on the shift. We have evening shifts available that can start between 14:00 and 17:00, and finish between 20:00 and 23:00. We have night shifts available that can start between 23:30 and 03:00, and finish between 07:00 and 09:00. Shifts are available 7 days a week.
The starting pay rate is £12.21 per hour.
