Summary
Well-established and respected accountancy practice based in Hitchin. They are looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their collaborative and fast-paced finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practice professional to take the next step in their career, working with a varied client base across different sectors. Key Responsibilities:
● Perform month-end and year-end financial reporting.
● Preparation of statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.
● Preparation of Self-Assessment returns.
● Liaise directly with clients to gather information, resolve queries, and provide updates on their financials
Requirements:
● 7+ years of experience in a UK accountancy practice
● Proficiency in Xero, IRIS, Sage, and QuickBooks.
● Strong Excel skills.
● Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and colleagues.
