Summary


Band 3 Administrative Assistant - Sure Start

The Manchester Speech and Language Therapy Service is committed to providing a high-quality service to children and families across the city of Manchester.

We are looking foran experienced Administratorto join the Sure Start Team.

You will play a vital role supporting therapists. Duties will include coordinating training, referral management, typing, supporting clinicians in managing patient groups, liaising with clinicians/professionals across other services, activity reporting to commissioners.

This is an opening for an enthusiastic and confident individual who enjoys communicating with others and utilising their excellent organisation and administrative skills. We are looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude, who is team focused and wants to learn and get involved. You will need to have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and very good IT skills.

The role is based at Wythenshawe. However, there may be occasions when visits to other bases across the city may be needed to support team events.

This post is 22.5 hours per week (hours to be agreed)

Salary scale Band 3 £24,071 - £25,674 pro rata

Main Tasks/Overview of Responsibilities

Responsibility for Patient Care

To deal with enquiries from parents, carers, schools, therapists, health and education professionals relating to the Communication and Language pathway
