Summary

G4S are currently recruiting for a Logistics Officer, to join their team at a high-end corporate site in London!

They are looking for someone with experience in coordinating a busy loading bay and creating a safe and secure environment, all whilst delivering customer service to the highest level in a busy environment and carve out a career with the biggest name in security.

Contract Information:

Location: Islington
Pay Rate: £14.50
Hours: 50 hours per week, which will increase to 60 hours per week.
Shifts: Currently 7am to 5pm, however, this will change to 7am to 7pm.

SIA License Required: Door Supervisor or Security Guarding


G4S are looking for someone with over 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Your Time at Work


As a Logistics Officer you will be required to carry out duties in a busy environment, which includes computer use and several clerical duties in addition to general security tasks.

Your duties include:

- Monitor and control the entry and exit of vehicles, staff, contractors and visitors.
- Verify delivery documentation and issue passes when required.
- Prevent unauthorised access and escalate any concerns to the building manager.
- Oversee and able to use access control software for programming of security cards.
- Oversee and manage shared calendar to review and permit access to contractors.
- Maintain visual oversight of the area and surrounding by patrols and CCTV monitoring.
- Identify and report suspicious activity.
- Respond to security alarms and emergency situations.
- Review handovers from team members.
- Ensure health and safety, and compliance, is practiced.
- Assist in the implementation of emergency procedures.
- Incident report writing.
- Liaison with site teams and contractors.
- To maintain the house keeping of the loading bay.
- To deliver great customer service.

Our Perfect Worker


- To be aged 18 or over
- To preferably hold a valid Door Supervisor or Security Guarding License
- Be a great communicator, verbally and written
- To have great customer service skills
- Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office platforms
