SALARY: £26,050 per annum + (rising to £26,550 upon completion of FLT training) + Generous Benefits (see below)
LOCATION: Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire (EN8)
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 40 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday, 7am – 4pm, with a one hour break each day

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Warehouse Operative who is organised, detailed orientated with a strong background in warehouse operations.
Working as the Warehouse Operative you will join the team to help provide an outstanding service to customers through efficient loading and unloading, picking and packing of stock and ensure the highest cleanliness standards are maintained throughout the warehouse.

DUTIES
Your duties as a Warehouse Operative will include:
• Ensure that goods in are put away accurately and paperwork procedures are followed
• Assemble and double-check customer orders for accurate loading onto vehicles
• Repair any damaged boxes to minimise waste and breakage
• Ensure all food products are safe, legal, and meet their high-quality standards
• Perform cleaning duties as per company schedules
• Maintain a tidy and hazard-free warehouse environment
• Use a forklift (if trained) to transport goods safely
• Assist with monthly stocktakes and weekly van cleaning
• Complete paperwork accurately and efficiently
• Provide fast, friendly service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Collect cheques from customers, ensuring they are properly filled out
• Ensure all delivery equipment is prepared and loaded
• Maintain regular communication with the operations teams for updates and issue resolution
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Physically able to comfortably carry heavy loads, within guidelines
• A counterbalance forklift licence is desirable
• Highly motivated with a positive, can-do, and flexible attitude
• Able to work with speed and urgency, whilst maintaining safety
• Team player with a professional and personable approach to colleagues and customers
• Attention to detail
• Punctual
