The Role

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Lettings Manager to lead the delivery of a high-performing lettings service across multiple localities. This role is central in delivering SNG's purpose to provide good, affordable homes that are the foundation for a better life. You'll ensure properties are let efficiently, rent loss is minimised, and customers receive a high-quality onboarding and exit experience.

You'll provide visible leadership to a team of Lettings Officers, working collaboratively with Locality, Development, and Customer Accounts teams, as well as external partners, to support sustainable communities. The role also leads on performance monitoring, data quality, and continuous service development in line with SNG's strategic objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading the day-to-day delivery of the lettings service, ensuring homes are let efficiently and performance targets are achieved.
Coordinating lettings activity across multiple localities, working closely with internal teams to ensure homes are ready and let appropriately.
Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local authorities and support agencies.
Overseeing compliance with lettings policies, tenancy types, and legislation, ensuring data quality and safety standards are met.

What we'll need from you

Strong knowledge of housing-related legislation and policies related to lettings, tenancy law, and compliance.
Experience of managing and motivating operational teams in a customer-facing environment, ideally within housing or a similar public service sector.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and hold team members accountable.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.

What we can offer you

Flexible working
25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays (with an extra day every year up to 30 days)
