Role Overview:

Morson are recruiting for a NIGHTSHIFT position on behalf a leading defence equipment manufacturers based in Bolton, Greater Manchester. This is a contract role although highly likely to be long-term. Candidates MUST have prior experience soldering under a microscope experience in order to be considered

Rates: £24.78 per hour Umbrella or £18.46 per hour (holiday pay on top of hourly rate) rates rise after 12 weeks to £26.12 per hour Umbrella or £19.46 per hour PAYE

Monday - Thursday *nightshift hours are 9pm to 6:30am*

Role Overview:

Nightshift Microelectronics Operator will be responsible for the carrying out of manufacturing and self-certification tasks within the deployed business, in accordance with product certification procedures, defined workmanship standards, allocated budgets and timescales to meet project objectives.

Responsibilities include:

• Soldering under a microscope
• Carry out detailed standard assembly / manufacturing activities, undertaking all work to requisite procedures, quality standards, safety requirements and timescales
• Contribute to the efficient movement of work and information in the manufacturing area
• Adhere in all activities to agreed standards and behaviours
• Comply with all health and safety requirements

Skillset/experience required:

Previous Microelectronics experience ESSENTIAL
Prior Soldering under a microscope experience ESSENTIAL
• Dexterity for fine work
• Read and interpret layouts
• IPC 610 certified / trained preferred
• Follow instructions
• Attention to detail
• Work on own with minimal supervision
• PC literate

As a general operator, you maybe tasked to work across a number of departments these might include:

• Micro Electronics
• Looming
• PEC Assembly
• Plastics Department
• Manufacturing Control/ Stores
