Summary
We are looking for a responsible Maintenance person to provide support to our care home. This is a hands on position, and the individual is expected to work on their own initiative. You will work on a one-to-one basis on a variety of tasks related to the home’s management requests.
Key Responsibilities:
Check maintenance book at least daily and take appropriate action
Daily walkabout cross referencing to maintenance schedule and record findings
Liaise with manager for specific tasks
Liaise with administrator regarding contact with outside agencies
Carry out specialist requirements such as Pat testing
Carry out monitoring and recording of water temperatures
General maintenance
Monitor clinical and specialist waste process
Liaise with administrator for ad hoc tasks
Essential Requirements:
· Proven work experience in a maintenance field (preferably minimum 1 years)
· Knowledge of various legislation relating to the role, e.g PAT testing
· Outstanding organisational and time-management skills
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily workload
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Personality Profile:

· Focussed and responsive
· Takes initiative
· Excellent multi-tasker
Must have own vehicle as you may have to collect supplies when required
