Summary

We are seeking a Quality Auditor who will be responsible for performing tasks that require attention to detail, manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring all paperwork is accurate and completed on time.
Working with operations to make sure GMP standards within manufacturing areas are upheld.
Life checks on factory components.
Sign off of positive release for prepared components prior to use in production.
Completing relevant internal audits i.e. glass checks, hygiene swabbing, start ups etc.
Communicate quality issues at the correct forum and to appropriate parties.
Through leadership and example promote and develop standards of safety.
Maintain and ensure all team members are aware of their responsibility for quality.
To promote a safety culture within the department/factory ensuring all H&S requirements are met.
Involvement in ad hoc projects.
Experience
Experience of the food industry is essential.
Experience of auditing.
Understanding of HACCP, Basic Food Hygiene.
Basic English and Maths skills.
Good IT Skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Good written and communication skills
Able to work as part of a team.
Able to use own initiative.
Problem solving and decision-making skills.
The shift pattern is two days (06:00-18:00), two nights (18:00-06:00), with four days off.
