Summary
Reliable and compassionate Care Assistants required for a Nottingham care home, in the NG12 area specialising in providing care for those with physical and/or dementia related illness. As a Care Assistant, you will work to empower residents to remain as independent as possible in their daily routines.
You will aid their mobility and nutritional needs, whilst ensuring that physical and psychological wellbeing is the utmost priority.
Additional responsibilities could include completing domestic tasks, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and taking responsibility for promoting the welfare of the adults in your care –
although no two days will be the same! If you are an effective team player with a positive, compassionate attitude, then we would love to hear from you!
If you wish to be considered for this role you must have the following: -
• You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee
• Have an in date enhanced DBS check, if your DBS have expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.
We are unable to offer support for VISA applicants.
This is a rewarding, ongoing opportunity.
Your typical hours would be 07.00 to 14.00 Monday to Friday.
You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.35 per hour with holiday accrued
