Summary

Part-Time Warehouse Operative - Permanent Position
Location: Basingstoke
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Hours: 22 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join a well-established business in Basingstoke. This is a permanent, part-time opportunity offering consistent hours on a rotating shift pattern.

Shift Pattern (rotates weekly):

Week 1:
Monday to Thursday: 08:00-12:30
Friday: 08:00-12:00

Week 2:
Monday to Thursday: 11:30-16:00
Friday: 10:30-14:30

Key Responsibilities:

  • Booking in and checking incoming shipments

  • Picking, packing, and dispatching orders

  • Managing returns and arranging collections

  • Raising invoices and maintaining associated paperwork

  • Weekly stock checks and mini audits

  • Loading and unloading deliveries

  • Maintaining accurate stock locations and records

  • Handling customs documentation and enquiries

  • General warehouse housekeeping

  • Other duties as reasonably requested by management

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience

  • Good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills

  • Ability to lift up to 5kg and perform physically active tasks

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

  • Understanding of handling and packing Dangerous Goods is desirable

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
