AK Teaching is currently working with a newly established Alternative Provision based in Preston, seeking a dedicated PE Teacher.
This provision supports children diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), ADHD, and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs. The students face a range of barriers to learning and may at times display challenging behaviour. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact and confident in supporting pupils with diverse and complex needs.
· Location: Preston
· Age Range: Pupils aged 11 to 16 years

Responsibilities and Duties:
We are seeking a dedicated Secondary PE Teacher for a position in Middlesbrough, delivering Physical Education across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will:
- Teach a varied timetable across all secondary year groups
- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and challenging lessons tailored to students of all abilities
- Foster a positive, supportive, and respectful learning environment
- Encourage every student to reach their full potential through high-quality teaching and personal support
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent with QTS)
- Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum at the secondary level
- The ability to build positive and effective relationships with students and colleagues
- A commitment to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
