Summary

Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Salary: Up to £30,300

40 Hours per week

Our client is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their nursery. The successful applicant will deliver high-quality early years education and care. This full-time (40 hours/week) position offers an excellent salary of up to £30,300, in a setting with a modern nursery building, a lovely outdoor playground, and a supportive team culture. What We’re Looking For

  • Full Level 3 Early Years or equivalent (essential)
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting, ideally working with children aged 0-5 years
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and how to deliver learning through play
  • Good communication skills – able to engage both with children and their parents/carers in a warm, respectful manner
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, and hygiene requirements in an early years environment
  • A caring, patient, and adaptable approach; able to work well as part of a team and independently

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to support children’s learning through play, indoors and outdoors
  • Act as a key-person: observe, assess, and record each child’s progress; build strong relationships with children, families, and carers
  • Ensure children’s safety, health and welfare: follow safeguarding policies, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure safe use of resources and equipment
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, nurturing, and stimulating environment, including setting up and tidying spaces, managing daily routines such as meals, naps, and outdoor play
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support inclusion, and adapt activities for children with additional needs (SEND)
  • Assist in planning and reviewing the educational programme, including liaising with management to improve practice and share best ideas
