Key responsibilities of LCV Technician / Vehicle Tecnician / Van Techanican / Van Mechanic:
• Perform diagnostic, mechanical and electrical repairs on LCVs
• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance to high industry standards
• Use computer-aided diagnostic tools (training provided if needed)
• Ensure health and safety compliance at all times
• Complete accurate job records and communicate effectively with the team
Skills and experience required for LCV Technician / Vehicle Tecnician / Van Techanican / Van Mechanic:
Essential
• Proven experience working as an LCV Technician / Vehicle Tecnician / Van Techanican / Van Mechanic or Light Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
• Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic fault-finding skills
• Good understanding of LCV servicing and repairs
• Committed to health and safety practices
• Willingness to learn and train on latest technologies, including electric vehicles
Desirable
• Relevant vocational qualifications (e.g. IMI, City & Guilds)
• Experience working in a main dealer or commercial fleet workshop
• Class C (or higher) driving licence
