Summary
Plumbing Lecturer
Location: Romford, East London
Salary: £45 Per Hour
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Plumbing Lecturer to join our construction team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in plumbing and heating, helping learners gain the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the industry.
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in plumbing and heating at various levels.
- Develop course materials, schemes of work, and assessment resources in line with awarding body standards.
- Support learners in developing both theoretical knowledge and practical competence.
- Track and record learner progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Promote safe working practices and maintain high standards of health & safety in workshops.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement.
- Engage with employers and industry to ensure training remains relevant and up to date.
- Level 3 qualification in Plumbing (essential).
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS) or willingness to work towards one.
- Assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, D32/33) is desirable.
- Strong industry background with current knowledge of plumbing practices and regulations.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to supporting and motivating learners from all backgrounds.
