Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday (06.00-14.00 or 07.00-15.00)
Salary: £25,671 per year (inclusive of shift allowance)

The Role
We’re looking for a motivated Loader to join our small team at the Herroschoff Kiln site in Plympton. This is a hands-on role, fast-paced where accuracy, safety, and efficiency are key. You’ll be responsible for loading products onto vehicles for customer deliveries, maintaining high standards of quality and housekeeping, and supporting the wider site operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pick, prepare, and despatch customer orders in line with loading instructions
• Operate mobile plant equipment safely, completing pre-shift checks following procedures
• Ensure all products are despatched in excellent condition, free from defects
• Liaise with hauliers and support efficient vehicle loading
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping across the site
• Provide flexible support across the warehouse and production areas
• Work in line with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies

What We’re Looking For
• Experience in a warehouse or production manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Mobile plant / forklift truck experience (desirable)
• Computer literacy - Google Suite or SAP an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and communications skills
• Team player with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
• Full UK driving licence
