We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Modernisations Assistant to work within our Capital works department. This will involve supporting two Modernisations officers and the Modernisations manager in the day to day running of Capital works within Broxtowe Borough Council. You will answer queries from residents and contractors along with booking appointments and managing invoicing and payments.
We’re looking for an individual who has experience in:
• Working with members of the public and in a customer focussed environment
• Processing data and organisational skills
• Working independently on tasks and in a team environment
• Answering phone calls and queries taking notes as required
• Identifying information and communicating effectively
• Use of computerised software systems, including word, excel, outlook.
• Managing/handling payments and invoices
The ideal candidate would be someone who:
• Has good organisational and communication skills
• The ability to maintain clear and concise records
• Good time management
• Be enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Has good customer care skills
What you need to know:
The post holder will be required to work from our offices in Beeston a minimum of 2 days per week plus more when required.
