Summary

The University of Southampton has an in-house parking support service providing cover across a number of sites and is looking for additional full time permanent support officers. You will be contracted to 36 hours per week, Mon-Fri with start times varying between 8am-9am. You will occasionally be required to cover weekend events, by prior arrangement and in lieu of your normal hours.

Common duties will include (but not limited to) -

Customer Service - engaging with staff, students and visitors to provide a positive customer experience
Support our Security Team - by assisting them during emergency incidents
Parking Enforcement - Ensuring the Universities parking regulations are appropriately enforced
A full, manual car Driving Licence is required, and you should also be able to demonstrate a good customer focused work record.

Interviews for this position are expected to be held in November 2023, for a January 2024 start.
