Summary
Duties & Responsibilities: Provide specialist communication assessment and intervention with infants, children and young persons presenting with a wide range of underlying diagnosis including neurodevelopmental, neurological, respiratory, cardiac, and genetic conditions. Assess and provide intervention to infants, children and young persons with eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties. Develop goal directed care plans using evidence-based practice and specialist knowledge, in collaboration with patients and their families. Use excellent communication skills and effective partnership working within the multidisciplinary team. Demonstrate the ability to reflect on own performance and a commitment to continuous professional development. Adopt a flexible and dynamic approach to patient care that supports the team to provide high quality service across all hospital programs.
