Summary
Job Title: Mobile Multiskilled Engineer
Location: Dudley Lifts Portfolio (with potential travel to Bristol & Oxford)
Salary: £36,000 - £38,000 per annum + on-call allowance
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Reports to: Engineering Supervisor

About the Role:
EQUANS is recruiting for a Mobile Multiskilled Engineer to join our team supporting a key Healthcare contract in the Dudley area. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of mechanical and general maintenance tasks, including PPM, reactive works, and minor installations. This is a mobile role with potential support to the wider Bristol and Oxford regions as required.
This is a critical position within a high-performing engineering team, ensuring facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs

Complete accurate and timely reports, paperwork, and compliance documentation

Perform minor mechanical installations and general maintenance

Control and supervise sub-contractors and safety documentation
-
Manage spare part requirements and report on repair status

Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota (currently 1 in 3)

Ensure all works are carried out with a customer-first approach
Key Technical Competencies:
-
Plumbing (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 - essential)

Drainage, pressure systems, TMVs, sanitary ware
-
Heating systems, pumps, AHUs, thermal wheels
-
General building services maintenance
-
Understanding of BMS and fire/life safety systems

General handyman duties
Qualifications & Experience Required:

Recognised Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services qualification

City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Pipework (essential)

HTM Compliance awareness (RP/AP roles desirable)

Health & Safety and Legionella Awareness
-
TMV City & Guilds
-
IPAF 3a & 3b (desirable)
