Hours per week:
One weekend per month - (possibly more weekends and/or days in the week would be available) 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM: Support with morning routine 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Assistance with dinner and evening routine Occasional extra hours may be needed, so flexibility is important

I am looking for a kind, reliable, and experienced individual to provide support one weekend a month, with additional hours possibly available during the week or month if desired for my a 98-year-old father who is mentally sharp, enjoys conversation, and remains as independent as he can despite some mobility challenges.

The role involves 1 hour in the morning (7:30–8:30 AM) and 1 hour in the evening (5:00–6:00 PM), with occasional flexibility required.

Duties include light personal care, assisting with compression clothing, light domestic tasks, preparing breakfast and a light evening meal, and administering medication (full training and notes provided).

Strong, clear communication is important due to hearing difficulties, and experience in care is preferred.

This role would suit someone who is both supportive and sociable, and able to adapt as needed.

Duties include:
- Medication prompting/administering
- Personal grooming
- Other relevant duties as required
- Housekeeping
- Cooking
- Dressing / undressing
- Some support getting around may be needed on occasion

Candidate qualities:

- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
