Summary
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our residential care team. This is a key role within our organisation, supporting the Registered Manager in maintaining Ofsted standards and ensuring excellence in care delivery.
You will:
Lead, support, and mentor a team of Residential Support Workers.
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding policies, and company procedures.
Manage day-to-day operations of the home, promoting a safe, positive, and nurturing environment.
Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and reviews for the young people.
Promote independence, resilience, and personal development among children and young people.
Support the Registered Manager with audits, inspections, and continuous service improvement.
About You
We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with young people and has a strong track record in residential childcare.
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience in a senior or team leader role within an Ofsted-regulated children’s home.
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – Level 5 preferred or willingness to work towards it.
Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and child protection.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
Flexible, resilient, and committed to supporting positive outcomes for children.
