Summary
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator with a Reach Licence to join our client's warehouse/logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating reach forklifts to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Safely move products to and from storage areas, racks, and loading docks.
- Load and unload goods from trucks or containers.
- Conduct regular equipment checks and basic maintenance of forklifts.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for dispatch.
- Ensure product integrity and quality by handling items with care.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed (inventory checks, manual handling, etc.).
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Reach Forklift Licence.
- Proven experience operating a reach forklift in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg.
- Good attention to detail and time management skills.
- Basic computer or skills are a plus.
