Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Caretaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties
Perform commercial cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
Carry out janitorial duties such as emptying bins, cleaning restrooms, and maintaining common areas.
Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with setting up facilities for events or meetings as required.
Maintain an organised work area and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Skills
Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions effectively.
Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within set timeframes.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Good communication skills for reporting issues and interacting with staff and visitors.
